Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! It's great to meet you! I believe it is so important to prioritize your mental health for your overall wellbeing. So, congratulations on your first step to taking care of you! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for 22 years with my main focus being PTSD, trauma recovery, grief and loss, depression and anxiety. I have also been focusing on women's issues, particularly around caregiving and midlife issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is that of warmth, acceptance and building trust. My focus is to create a safe space for you to explore and express your thoughts and feelings. Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
