Great to meet you!

My specialties lie within trauma, anxiety and depression. I work with clients aged 4 and up who experience a variety of struggles. One of my areas of expertise is working with children/teens who have experienced trauma. I am trained in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), an evidence-based approach to guiding children/teens to healing.

My approach to therapy

My number one priority is for my clients to feel comfortable. I take a laid-back approach that is fairly directive yet very empathic. Psychoeducation and self-esteem work are major parts of my practice as I utilize these tools to empower my clients. I also focus on coping skills and the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors (CBT-focused). I like to be transparent with clients and increase their comfortability by letting my own personality shine through.

What you can expect from me

I hope that clients walk away from sessions feeling empowered and relieved. Naturally, some sessions are emotionally more difficult than others; I want to acknowledge these tough parts and honor them. My goal is to empower clients by educating them, listening to them and guiding them to utilize their own strengths to achieve long-term satisfaction in life.
