Great to meet you!

I am a dual-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor who utilizes an integrative therapy approach to provide a safe space for healing and learning to manage life’s stressors. My therapy experience includes work in private practice and community-based organizations treating co-occurring disorders as well as depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and addiction issues. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents (ages 13-18) and young adults.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I engage in evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, and mindfulness) that help us recognize and challenge negative thought and behavior patterns, and I also lead with a strength-based approach. I believe building on an individual’s internal strengths and abilities is the first step to creating desirable outcomes. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a treatment technique to help us heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences.

What you can expect from our first session

I lead my sessions with encouragement and unconditional positive regard to help my clients develop new skills and thrive! I am passionate about client advocacy, and I am intent on bringing energy, an open mind, and an open heart to every person I work with.
