Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I have over 7 years of experience as a Rape Crisis Intervention and Prevention Outreach/Counselor, MFT Trainee, and MFT Associate. I was a research assistant at CSU, Chico for 2 years, working with survivors of natural disasters such as wildfires.

I have a certificate in Guided Drawing (a type of art therapy). I am currently enrolled in Neuropsychotherapy courses to become certified as an NPT-PT, as well as courses to get a certificate in Sex, Intimacy, and Relational Healing. I am also working through SEI to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).

I work with individuals via telehealth using modalities such as Positive Psychology, CBT, and Art Therapy. I have two dogs being trained to work in a physical office who might join some of the telehealth sessions.

My approach to therapy

I am both warm and direct. I will not tell you what to do. We work together to understand patterns, create change, and help you become a healthier, happier version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will talk about what is bringing you to therapy and what you hope might change. I will ask questions to gain a sense of your story and start to understand the patterns affecting your life. A safe space will be created so that you can begin your healing journey.
