Great to meet you!

My hope is that through our work together, you will experience greater connection, safety, and acceptance within yourself. My clinical background includes community mental health, residential treatment, and outpatient care, where I have supported transition-aged youth, adolescents with substance use disorders, and adults. Across these settings, I have seen how trauma impacts the nervous system—and how healing becomes possible when people feel supported in reconnecting with their inner resources.

I am continually inspired by the courage clients bring to therapy: the willingness to slow down, turn inward, and gently engage with painful experiences in the service of lasting change. I hold an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and have completed EMDR trainings through the EMDR Institute and the Trauma Therapist Institute. Outside of my clinical work, I find balance through time outdoors and with my family.

My approach to therapy

I will greet you with warmth and authenticity as we collaborate to understand, accept, and resolve the challenges you’re facing. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore your inner experience at your own pace.

My work as a therapist is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe enough to explore our inner world with curiosity and compassion. My therapeutic approach integrates body-based awareness, mindfulness, and evidence-based trauma therapies to support holistic healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming and collaborative space designed to help me understand you as a whole person. During this initial appointment, I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and learn about your biological, psychological, and social history. This allows me to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences, strengths, and current challenges.

Together, we will identify your treatment goals and develop a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs. Therapy is a collaborative process. You will also have ample opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and ensure you feel comfortable and informed as we begin working together.
