Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but traditional. I earned my bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Kent State University before discovering my passion for helping others, which led me to earn a master's degree in School Counseling from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York.

For nearly 10 years, I have worked as an in-school counselor at a public high school, supporting adolescents through life's challenges with compassion and understanding. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, helping clients build practical coping skills, increase self-confidence, and navigate difficult moments with resilience.

My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I strive to be an attentive listener who approaches each client with curiosity, openness, and compassion, recognizing that every person's experiences are unique.

While we will work through life's challenges together, I value bringing authenticity and an appropriate sense of humor into our sessions when it feels right.

My goal is to help you build on your strengths, develop practical tools for navigating difficult emotions, and leave each session feeling supported, hopeful, and more confident in your ability to move forward.

What you can expect from me

We will go over client/therapist expectations, and it typically involves a clinical interview, goal-setting, and the start of a treatment plan
