Great to meet you!

I am Julie Lamb, an LCSW with a nearly 20-year career spanning both public and private sectors. I have a gift for unlocking the mental and emotional roadblocks that prevent people from becoming their best selves, and specialize in helping high achieving individuals with perfectionism, imposter syndrome and burnout.

I am also an expert on the brain and nervous system and understands how trauma impacts all areas of life. I am EMDR trained an work to help you regulate your nervous system so that you can heal from all of the small and large traumas affecting your life. These traumas range from spiritual, emotional, mental, social and physical.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I know how to diagnose a problem and create a solution for it. I know the brain very well, I understand where emotions and feelings derive from and how to provide a resolution to navigate through them when they get tricky.

I guide you to owning your power + energy. Unleashing your superpower is my superpower.

I will hold you accountable and watch you execute the strategic plan, all while guiding you to keep unhealthy thoughts at bay.

What you can expect from me

When we meet for our first session, my two primary goals are to introduce you to the counseling process and get to know you. We will go over your intake paperwork together, and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about our work. I will ask about your personal history and the experiences you have had that led you to seek counseling at this time. Together, we will discuss your goals for counseling and create a plan for you to meet them. Learn more at www.insight-counsel.com
