Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Julie, and I'm a clinically licensed therapist. I know that starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions and goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard without judgment. Therapy is a collaborative process and understanding what brought you here is as paramount to identifying goals and exploration into where you have been stuck or challenged in order to help you move toward the life you want.

I look forward to getting to know you and support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer evidence-based tools and perspectives, and support you as you navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first few sessions, I'll spend time getting to know you—your experiences, relationships, strengths, concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There is no pressure to share everything all at once and pace is determined by what feels comfortable for you.

I also encourage questions and historical data to get a full picture of you. It's important that you feel comfortable with me and with the therapeutic process. Open communication helps us build a strong therapeutic alliance which is one of the most important factors in successful therapy.
