Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience in mental health. I am a graduate of Adelphi University and have been trained in the use of DBT, CBT, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness approaches. I have spent my career in a variety of roles which have allowed me to develop a unique skill set and an integrated approach to treatment.

My approach to therapy

Through the use of mindfulness, radical acceptance, DBT, CBT, and humanistic approaches, I can help you explore your thoughts, beliefs and patterns of reactivity to create the space for awareness, acceptance and change. This awareness can help you cultivate a greater sense of peace and maximize your potential for growth.

What you can expect from me

Life presents its challenges to all of us. What leaves us feeling anxious, depressed, angry or stuck is our thoughts and beliefs about what life has laid before us. When you can begin to view these challenges with an increased sense of awareness and acceptance it becomes much easier to skillfully navigate through life's obstacles.
