I focus on helping individuals and couples to gain understanding of themselves and others so they can live a more purposeful life. I have been a counselor for the past 11 years. I graduated from La Roche College, Pittsburgh, Pa. in 2010 with a BA in Psychology and from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, Pa. in 2012 with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. My initial experiences included working with individuals who were struggling with some form of addiction (alcohol, drugs, eating disorders). I also have completed extensive trainings and have experience working with the following issues: trauma, grief, and relationships challenges as well as anxiety and depression. I also provide support through various life adjustments (losses, new job/career). I incorporate use of the following therapies: CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care as well emotionally-focused therapy for couples.
