Great to meet you!

My name is Julie and I help clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, and major life transitions. I often work with college and graduate students, LGBTQ+ clients, professionals, artists and creatives, and people who think and feel deeply. Before earning my LCSW and starting my own practice, I worked as a psychotherapist in Philadelphia, and prior to that, I held leadership roles at the intersection of the arts and social justice. Those experiences shape the creativity, curiosity, and openness I bring to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and hopeful. I’ll ask thought-provoking questions to help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, while also supporting you in making positive changes. Depending on your needs, our work may include CBT, mindfulness, exposure-based therapies, or a deeper exploration of your values, goals, and the experiences that shaped you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be thoughtful and reliable—someone who can track the bigger picture while helping you move forward. In our first session, we’ll talk about what has been difficult, what your goals are, and the strengths you bring with you. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out; I’ll guide the conversation, answer your questions, and help us identify whether working together feels like a good fit. I look forward to meeting you!
