Great to meet you!

I'm so glad you're here!! :) Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and taking that first step is something to be proud of. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I spent more than 20 years as a school counselor before transitioning to private practice, where I've dedicated the past three years to working with moms and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, caregiver stress, and the many challenges that come with everyday life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, you don't have to face it alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual. I bring warmth, empathy, and genuine care to my work, and I believe healing happens in a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns so you can make meaningful and lasting changes.

Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of how you want to feel and function, while also building on your existing strengths. I draw from my extensive experience working with people through different life stages and transitions, always meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if it's your first time, but my goal is to make you feel comfortable from the moment we meet. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to get to know one another, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and explore your personal history, strengths, and goals. There is no pressure to have all the answers or share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin building a trusting relationship and create a plan that supports your unique needs and helps you move toward the life you want to live.
