Great to meet you!

I am continuously amazed by the power of the human spirit and the resilience I see in clients. I think that is what gives me hope and keeps me engaged in the therapeutic process year after year. I know we all have the capacity to change and grow exponentially, but it is hard to do that alone. I recognize that asking for help is hard, which is why you will always be treated with empathy, warmth, and kindness. I provide therapy in English and Spanish and am passionate about social justice issues. I specialize in trauma-informed care, addiction/dual diagnosis, mood disorders, adjustment issues, and interpersonal issues.

My approach to therapy

I am flexible, forthcoming, and passionate about paying it forward. Regardless of your treatment goals, you will be treated with empathy, respect, dignity, and lack of judgment. I believe trust and honesty is paramount in a therapeutic relationship. Whether someone is struggling with emotion regulation, trauma, addiction, or other stressor, I tend to focus on strengths, solutions, and positive feedback.

What you can expect from me

I excel at identifying people's strengths, as well as illuminating thought patterns and behaviors that might be keeping you stuck. I have a decade of experience teaching coping skills to address mental health crises and situational stressors. I help clients work through unwillingness, resistance, fear, self-sabotaging, and other self-defeating behaviors.
