Hello. My name is Julie and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I have spent the last five years in Singapore working as a social/emotional counselor in a large international high school. In that role, I supported students and families from over 75 countries in the world. That helps me to view counseling from an inclusive and culturally sensitive space. I have returned to the beautiful PNW and am excited to ground my practice at home.
I have intentionally selected a physical space that will begin the therapeutic experience even before you enter the office. Nestled in the Snoqualmie Valley on a large organic farm, my therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths based. I use nature, mindfulness and art therapy to help clients find solutions and work to a place of strength.
Clients direct the sessions. I will help guide the client to create workable goals and look to make progress each session towards those goals. I will introduce a variety of tools that can be used easily and effectively in every day struggles.
