Great to meet you!

I have always been interested in what makes each of us who we are and how we relate to others. Throughout my training to become a clinical psychologist, I trained in many different settings including university counseling centers, hospitals, community mental health centers and private practices. I ultimately chose to open my own practice so that I could have the freedom to meet each client's specific needs. I am so grateful for the ability to walk alongside each of my clients as they navigate the challenges and joys of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both supportive and goal-oriented. There are parts of therapy that can be very practical such as discussing communication challenges and overall coping, while other parts of therapy can feel deeply complex as we dive into past or present relational challenges and identity questions. While I see client with many different concerns, I have extensive additional training in ADHD and perinatal/postpartum therapy.

What you can expect from me

I am a highly relational therapist and I always strive to make therapy a warm, safe environment. During my intake session, I will ask you about what it is that is bringing you to therapy at this moment in time. I will ask about relevant history so that you and I can start to understand specific patterns. For example, if you are experiencing severe anxiety right now, I would want to understand your current stressors but also past experience.
