Great to meet you!

Hi. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers distinctively Christian counseling. I draw on theories and techniques of Christian counseling and modern psychology, operating primarily as a cognitive behaviorist. I have worked in several counseling settings, with all age clients. I stepped away from counseling for awhile to be at home and educate my children and am excited to be returning to the work that I love to do.

My approach to therapy

I seek to help clients consider all issues and relationships from a Biblical lens and to look to scripture for comfort and encouragement as well as insight and instruction for personal growth. While I operate out of a biblical worldview, I don’t assume all my clients will be Christian and I am able to meet people where they are, allowing the client to direct the degree to which we discuss spiritual things.

What you can expect from me

I understands that changes in technology and culture are compounding life’s struggles for many and are contributing to depression, anxiety, and addictive behaviors. While we all experience stress and struggles, each individual's situation is unique. I desire to meet people where they are and help them get to where they want to be.
