Great to meet you!

Witnessing another in a therapeutic capacity is both a sacred privilege and an ever-evolving journey. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have extensive experience supporting older adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, and neurodiversity, as well as older adults facing grief and loss through hospice care.

Using a strengths-based lens, I am intentional about creating a safe and supportive space that fosters self-awareness, connection, hope, healing, and resilience. My goal is to help you recognize, cultivate, and strengthen the inherent capabilities and wisdom that already exist within you.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where we work together to foster self-discovery, healing, and meaningful growth. Using an integrative and strengths-based approach, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I am intentional, attentive, and responsive to your unique needs, meeting you where you are and honoring your individual pace and experiences.

I believe in the power of language, authentic connection, attuning to the somatic experience, and exploring alternative narratives that help illuminate your strengths, inspire new perspectives, and enhance your sense of agency. My work is grounded in cultural humility and an appreciation for the many influences that shape our lives, including relationships, family systems, community, and broader social contexts.

Throughout the therapeutic process, I take a holistic stance that values the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, to nurture a deeper connection with yourself and others. Together, we can cultivate resilience, self-compassion, balance, and self-trust, helping you reconnect with hope and move toward a greater sense of fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be an intimidating and vulnerable process. I do my best to foster a warm and nurturing environment with a client centered approach, and the intention of putting you at ease. The first session consists of an introduction, intake, and policy review, as well as discussing desired goals and outcome. In the following session we will review your treatment plan to make sure it aligns with your goals, and proceed at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
