Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Juliet Araujo, LCSW, BCBA who is passionate about helping people overcome life's challenges and build meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, self-esteem issues, and parenting challenges. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, helping them build emotional regulation, confidence, healthy relationships, and greater independence.

In addition to my clinical work, I am frequently invited to appear on national television to provide expert guidance on mental health, parenting, and emotional well-being.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

Rather than telling you what to do, we'll work together to understand your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop practical strategies that fit your life and goals.

My style is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and solution focused. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions, while tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs and values.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, parenting stress, or life transitions, my goal is to help you feel more confident, resilient, and equipped to handle life's challenges long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're experiencing, your strengths, and the goals you'd like to achieve.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. My priority is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and goals.

By the end of our first session, many clients leave with a better understanding of their concerns, greater clarity about the path ahead, and a renewed sense of hope. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident that you're taking an important first step toward meaningful and lasting change.
