Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC and Virginia. I specialize in working with teen and young adult athletes who are experiencing performance anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, depression, injury, and burnout. As a collegiate soccer player and life long athlete I have personal understanding of the mental health challenges that come with being an athlete.

I help my clients gain control of their emotions, guide them in developing healthier coping and communication skills, and teach them ways to gain more positive thought patterns and feel more joy, satisfaction, confidence, and happiness.

I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I graduated from the Catholic University of America in 2022 with a Masters in Social Work, I coached youth soccer in Northern VA for 5 years, and played college soccer at the Catholic University of America for 4 years.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths based, client led, and trauma informed. I believe that my clients already possess resilience and capacity for change; sometimes they simply need to learn new skills and have a safe space in order to discover their best self, and live a joyful, fulfilling life.

I also support parents, coaches, and teachers by teaching them evidenced based strategies to increase connection and cooperation at school, on the field, and at home.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what’s bringing you to therapy and what you want to change or improve. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a clear picture of your current challenges, background, and goals in a supportive, non judgmental space. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of your goals, how we’ll work together, and practical next steps.
