What you can expect from me

At your first session you can expect a warm, confidential intake focused on understanding your concerns, history, current functioning, and goals, this includes brief paperwork (consent, confidentiality, billing), a clinical interview to assess symptoms and strengths, and discussion of treatment options and next steps. Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes; we’ll review logistics (fees, insurance/slide scale, cancellations, telehealth vs. in‐person) and I’ll answer any questions. You may be asked about medical/medication history, prior treatment, supports, and any safety concerns. Plan to bring ID and insurance info (if using insurance) and be prepared to share whether you prefer English or Spanish. You’ll leave with a clear plan for follow‐up and agreed goals for therapy.
