Great to meet you!

I offer professional therapy grounded in my experience as a husband and father of eight children. I provide psychological testing for ADHD, autism, and job placement, and I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My goal is to help people build the skills they need so they can eventually fire me and feel they no longer need ongoing therapy. Se habla español, and I am happy to provide services in Spanish for clients and families who prefer it.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based treatments that are supported by research and tailored to each person’s goals, whether we are working on depression, anxiety, family, or couples issues. I am direct, practical, and collaborative, and I will share with you what we know from the science about what is most likely to help. In our work together, I focus on building concrete skills, improving communication, and tracking progress so you can see real change over time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I give you plenty of space to explain what is bothering you and what you would like to change. I will share my initial impressions about what you may be dealing with and how I think I can help, based on the best available science. We will talk through the main options for treatment, how our work together might look, and about how long it typically takes for people to start feeling better.
