Great to meet you!

I have 13 years of clinical experience in community mental health, working with adults who have lived through complex and often layered trauma. This includes childhood abuse, medical trauma, chronic pain, forced migration and displacement, chronic neglect or abandonment, and experiences of parentification.

I work with adults of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and neurodiverse and physically diverse identities. In addition to talk therapy, I integrate mindfulness-based practices and have facilitated both individual and group meditation. I offer services in English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I work from an integrative framework informed by psychodynamic theory, attachment research, CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and relational therapy.

I deeply value cultural context and our innate need for human connection, authenticity, and belonging. I believe healing begins within a safe, meaningful, and trusting therapeutic relationship. My style is warm, engaged, and relational, and I welcome spontaneity and humor when it supports the work.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients are welcomed into a non-judgmental space where honesty, safety, and trust are prioritized. I listen deeply to understand each client’s needs and help create a thoughtful, client-centered plan. My assessments are thorough and trauma-informed, with attention to strengths and the potential for growth and healing.
