Great to meet you!

I graduated with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have had the opportunity to work with families, individuals and couples of diverse backgrounds in helping them through several concerns. My therapeutic and advocacy experience has reinforced in me the value of helping others gain insight and implement strategies to move towards positive change.

My approach to therapy

I offer individual counseling for both Adults and Adolescents (13+) as well as couples counseling, especially clients of lantinx, black and brown, and LGBTQ communities. My therapeutic orientation is eclectic and I have have received training in several therapeutic interventions including EMDR and Gottman Method. My job as a therapist is to care for emotional, behavioral and physical issues being impacted by your mental health.

What you can expect from me

The first first session, I will be able to obtain a little of your history and the challenges impacting your mental health. You'll get to learn a little about me and the strategies I use in providing you support. We will also identify therapy goals you'd like to accomplish in our work together. Together, we will explore factors impacting your life and identify strategies that you can use immediately to help get you to the changes you desire.
