Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming at times, and reaching out for support is often the hardest first step. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with compassion, education, and genuine partnership. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or navigating a major life change, you don't have to face it alone. Together, we can work toward meaningful progress, greater balance, and lasting wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and goals. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, education, and supportive therapeutic interventions.

My journey in healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and progressed through roles as an LPN, Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, and now Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This diverse clinical experience has given me a deep appreciation for treating the whole person and understanding the connection between physical and mental health.

I earned my nursing degrees through progressive education, culminating in my Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at Walden University. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, stress, life transitions, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to empower clients with the tools, support, and treatment they need to improve their emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

Seeking help takes courage, and you do not have to face life's challenges alone. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to treatment. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, medical history, and any previous mental health treatment you may have received. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your goals, and discuss what you hope to achieve through treatment.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we will identify your needs, develop a personalized treatment plan, and discuss potential treatment options, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and supportive therapeutic interventions. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of your diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and the next steps in your care.

Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and reassured that you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.
