Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Junie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, OCD and insomnia. I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Marywood University and have been practicing clinically since 2016. My work is grounded in evidenced-based approaches, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, and I specialize in supporting 'messy overthinkers' - people caught in anxious loops, depression or relationship stress who want clarity and practical change, not just coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, affirming, and participatory. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself without judgement. I work collaboratively, asking questions to help you uncover your own strengths and clarity rather than telling you what to do. My focus is on supporting people through life transitions, relationship struggles, and the heavy feeling of being stuck or burned out. I prioritize creating a space where you feel heard, validated, and empowered to make changes at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you here right now. You can expect a gentle, conversational space where I'll ask you about your history and current challenges, but we'll move a speed that feels manageable for you. There's no pressure to have all the answers or fix everything in one hour; my goal is simply for you to leave feeling slightly lighter and clear on our next step. It's okay to come exactly as you are - foggy, overwhelmed, or unsure - and we'll figure out the rest together.
