Great to meet you!

I want you to know that I approach this work with genuine curiosity, respect, and compassion. I don’t expect you to have everything figured out, and you never have to worry about saying the “right” thing with me. My role is to meet you exactly where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.

I value honesty, collaboration, and clear communication. I’ll always explain my thinking, discuss options openly, and invite your questions and preferences. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to support you with clinical knowledge, thoughtful guidance, and a steady, nonjudgmental presence.

I also understand that seeking help can feel vulnerable. I take that seriously. You can expect me to be patient, attentive, and committed to creating a space where you feel safe enough to explore what you’re going through.

Most importantly, I care about helping you feel better—not just managing symptoms, but improving your overall quality of life in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on partnership, respect, and whole‐person understanding. I believe mental health care works best when clients feel safe, informed, and actively involved in their treatment. I take time to listen closely to your experiences, values, and goals so we can build a plan that truly fits your life.

I use a combination of evidence‐based practices, thoughtful medication management when appropriate, and supportive therapeutic conversation. I don’t rush to prescribe, and I don’t rely on a one‐size‐fits‐all model. Instead, we explore options together—whether that includes medication, lifestyle strategies, therapy referrals, or a blend of approaches.

Transparency is a core part of how I work. I explain my thinking, discuss risks and benefits in clear language, and encourage questions at every step. You remain in control of your care, and my role is to guide, support, and empower you.

Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel understood, validated, and genuinely cared for as we work toward meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and never rushed. We’ll start by talking about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to change or understand better. I’ll ask questions about your history, your current symptoms, and your overall well‐being so I can get a full picture of your needs.

You can expect a conversation—not an interrogation. My approach is collaborative, so we’ll explore your goals together and begin outlining a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you. If medication is something you’re curious about, we can discuss options, benefits, and concerns at a pace that feels comfortable. If you prefer a non‐medication approach, we’ll focus on that as well.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of next steps, what our work together will look like, and how I can support you moving forward. Most importantly, you can expect compassion, transparency, and a partnership centered on your growth and well‐being.
