Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. I specialize in compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, adults, males, and females, treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, sleep disorders, mood disorders, and more.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, combining psychotherapy, education, and, when appropriate, medication management. From your first session, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space, a thorough evaluation, and a personalized treatment plan designed to help you achieve stability, resilience, and an improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to mental health care, working closely with each client to understand their unique history, concerns, and goals. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, education, lifestyle recommendations, and, when appropriate, medication management. I focus on treating the whole person, not just symptoms, by integrating evidence-based practices with a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental style. My goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they work toward stability, resilience, and an improved quality of life. I am also accessible for urgent clinical concerns via text message or phone call at 786-682-6393, ensuring continuity of care and timely support when it matters most.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect each session to be a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where their concerns are heard and validated. I focus on helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of their mental health, develop practical coping strategies, and feel empowered to take active steps toward their goals. Over time, clients often experience improved emotional regulation, better communication skills, and increased confidence in managing daily challenges. Each session is tailored to their unique needs, combining evidence-based interventions with a compassionate, collaborative approach to support lasting progress and overall well-being.
