Great to meet you!

I work primarily with adult men who appear functional on the outside but feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck internally. Many struggle with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, work pressure, or major life transitions. They’re often looking for clarity, direction, and practical support—not just a place to talk.

My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. Treatment focuses on reducing anxiety and stress, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and building practical coping skills that translate into real-world change.

Many of the men I work with are used to handling things on their own and may feel uncomfortable reaching out for help. Therapy offers a space to slow down, think more clearly, and move forward with intention and purpose. My goal is to help clients gain better emotional control, clearer thinking, and greater confidence in their day-to-day lives.

If this sounds familiar, we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and strengths-based. I draw primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Treatment focuses on building practical skills to reduce anxiety and stress, improve emotional regulation, and navigate relationships more effectively. I work with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and apply these tools in real-life situations.

I believe clients already possess strengths and resilience, and therapy is a space to build on those strengths while gaining clarity, confidence, and direction. Sessions are goal-oriented and paced collaboratively, with an emphasis on meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable and understood while getting a clear sense of what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what feels most overwhelming or stuck, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, patterns, and stressors, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. I also take time to explain how I work and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps, and you should leave with a clearer sense of direction and whether working together feels like a good fit.
