Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University in 2013 and my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2023. My background spans prehospital care, intensive care, outpatient and ambulatory settings, home health, and psychiatry, giving me a whole-person perspective shaped by real experience across the care continuum.

These diverse experiences have shaped my ability to approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their individual circumstances. I have worked with clients across the lifespan and welcome individuals seeking support with a wide range of mental-health concerns. My goal is to provide a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported as we work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative, shared-decision-making approach to psychiatric care. I believe you are the expert on your own experiences, values, and goals; I bring clinical guidance, education, and evidence-based options to the table. When medication is appropriate, I provide thoughtful, individualized medication management, blending CBT-informed strategies, interpersonal approaches, and motivational interviewing to support sustainable change. You're a person, not a prescription, and that shapes everything about how I practice.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment will be a comprehensive meeting focused on getting to know you as a whole person. We will discuss your current concerns, personal and mental-health history, daily life, strengths, and the changes you would most like to see.

By the end, we'll begin building an individualized plan shaped by your preferences and goals, utilizing elements such as medication, therapy, lifestyle support, or additional resources. You'll have plenty of room to ask questions, and we'll make decisions together at a pace that feels right for you.
