Great to meet you!

I earned my master's degree in clinical social work from the University of West Florida. I have experience in working with clients coping with grief and loss (including pet bereavement), LGBTQ+ clients, clients diagnosed with terminal illness, self-esteem issues, helping clients with setting healthy boundaries, caregiver stress, stress related to aging, life transitions, relationship counseling, adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities from a non-judgmental, strengths-based approach.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect lots of questions, but there is never pressure to discuss anything you are not ready to talk about. This time will be utilized for getting to know you, what brings you in and your therapy goals. Beginning therapy can be a bit intimidating, which is why I prioritize working cooperatively with my clients from a compassionate, warm and empowering place. I am not a "blank slate" therapist and will always approach sessions from a humanistic therapy style, often incorporating humor when appropriate.
