Great to meet you!

I’m Justin, a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner who treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and sleep issues through telehealth. My approach is down-to-earth and focused on what works — medications when useful, coping tools when needed, and honest conversations always. I’ve worked in both primary care and psychiatric settings, including serving remote Alaskan communities, first responders, and trauma-exposed populations, and I also bring the perspective of my own military service and experience caring for veterans. My goal is for you to feel better, function better, and feel supported throughout the process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is fully client-focused and collaborative — I believe treatment works best when decisions are made together. I take time to understand each person’s goals, preferences, and lived experiences, and I tailor treatment rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I use evidence-based medication management along with practical coping tools when helpful, always explaining options clearly so clients feel informed and in control of their care. Above all, I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to improve their quality of life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a real conversation — no judgment, no pressure, and definitely no rushing. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping to feel better about, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. By the end, we’ll put together a plan that actually makes sense for your life, whether that’s meds, coping tools, lifestyle tweaks, or a mix of things. The goal is for you to walk away feeling heard, supported, and like you finally have a direction that feels right for you.
