Great to meet you!

I am an Alter-Abled Military Veteran who started a new career where I could connect and help others. After my injury I attended college and attained my masters degree in social work . I have been working as a primary therapist at an addiction/mental health treatment center for the last 4 years. I joined this platform to help others including those who struggle with addiction, veterans and anyone else who might need help navigating their mental health.

My approach to therapy

I like to foster a safe space for client's to share their life experiences, thoughts and feelings without fear and judgement. I like to work with client to understand the whole person and where they are coming from. I like to work with the client to help them identify their needs and help them achieve it. I like to work with client to identify struggles they are having and help them come up with ways to better manage them. I use CBT, and ACT to empower clients. I approach every client from a place of acceptance and non judgment.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we'll get acquainted, understand what's brought you in, and begin to discuss your goals. By the end of our session you'll have a clearer sense of what therapy would look like here and whether we're a good fit. Most people tell me they leave our first call feeling heard and better understood.
