Great to meet you!

Welcome!

My name is Dr. Justin T. Guy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 14 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology, Master's in Social Work, and Doctorate in Social Work.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or questions of identity and purpose, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can happen.

For clients who desire it, I also enjoy integrating faith into the therapeutic process in a way that honors their values and beliefs.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I work alongside clients to better understand the experiences that have shaped them and to develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but also your strengths, values, and what matters most to you. I want to understand your story, where you are today, and what you hope life can look like moving forward.

You can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest, ask questions, and move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.

Together, we'll identify your goals for therapy and begin creating a plan that is practical, personalized, and focused on meaningful progress. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, we'll work collaboratively to build on your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting change.

I believe therapy is a partnership. You can expect me to show up with compassion, authenticity, and accountability as we work together toward the life you want to build.
