Great to meet you!

I hold a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision and have been working in the counseling field for nearly 20 years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their emotional well-being, and move toward meaningful personal growth.

I believe therapy should be a supportive and collaborative experience where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to help you identify patterns that may be holding you back, build healthier coping strategies, and develop practical tools that support lasting change. For clients who desire it, I also enjoy integrating faith and spirituality into the counseling process as a source of strength, healing, and guidance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is individualized, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based counseling approaches and tools, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and personality.

I recognize that every person’s journey is different, so I work collaboratively with clients to find strategies that feel effective, practical, and meaningful for their lives. Whether you are facing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or emotional struggles, my goal is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of coping.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to counseling. I’ll invite you to share your goals, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

The first session is also an opportunity for us to build comfort and trust while exploring how we can work together effectively. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and encouraged about the path forward.
