Great to meet you!

Welcome! You've taken the first step in trying to find a therapist for yourself, and while it can be daunting, I hope you are sitting with pride that you've made it this far. I'm a former HR professional who became a therapist because I wanted to do more for people experiencing challenges in their lives. I believe that our mental health is an essential part of our overall well-being and is a priority that is undervalued in the systems we live in today. My practice primarily focuses on LGBTQ+ adult individuals, but I see clients from a diverse set of backgrounds. I am also an Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) Therapist-in-Training, a relational, warm and evidence-based approach to help people heal from significant negative experiences.

My approach to therapy

Together, we’ll explore mindful awareness of the present while acknowledging how societal expectations shape your experience. Whether you're addressing personal challenges or navigating relationship dynamics, I help foster emotional safety, authenticity, and connection to enhance self-compassion and find a path away from unhelpful self-narratives.

What you can expect from me

I hope to create a warm and inviting space that enables you to be your authentic self, where you feel seen and heard, and where you can work through the challenges you are experiencing. I believe the cultural intersections of our identity are intrinsically linked to our mental health, so I'll spend some time getting to know this about you. We'll work together to identify and empower your inner strengths that will allow you to work towards your goals in therapy, and from there, I'll continue to collaborate with you to find ways to meet them.
