Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm, Justin Landen. I am a licensed therapist in Colorado. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Nature-Based Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I embrace an integrative therapy style which is highly adaptive, goal-focused, and designed to be tailored specifically for you session-to-session.

My approach to therapy

Hardwired into the human nervous system is the need to be seen, known, heard, loved and belong. In session, I aim to cultivate a safe and supportive space that intrinsically lends itself to meeting those needs. Therapy is a vulnerable experience—my commitment to you is to foster a therapeutic relationship characterized by trust, empathy, presence, connection, validation, and unconditional positive regard. My hope for you is that our time together becomes a safe harbor that encourages authenticity, curiosity, self-awareness, vulnerability, and models secure relating.

What you can expect from me

A few common therapy goals we will work toward include increasing self-awareness, improving emotional regulation, enhancing your relationships with others and yourself, and fostering a deeper sense of meaning and connection in daily life. I will offer an abundance of resources for you to engage with between sessions if that appeals to you.
