I have been serving Orlando and surrounding areas in private practice for over 5 years after first gaining experience in residential crisis and substance abuse. I received my BS in psychology from UCF and my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University in Deland!
My approach to therapy varies from person to person. I pride myself on building strong rapport and meeting my clients where they are. From there we work on identifying and maximizing strengths as well as identifying how to anticipate and overcome potential obstacles. My approach is highly collaborative, but challenging!
My clients can expect to gain new perspectives from our sessions, but more importantly, greater agency and confidence in how to approach life and whatever challenges they meet. I like to remind my clients that the work they put in between sessions is where they will do the best work, and my job is to help them do that.
