Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health with over 20 years in healthcare across a variety of roles and extensive experience in mental health over the last 5 years—and as the middle child of seven, I learned early on how to navigate complex family dynamics and truly listen to what people need. When I'm not in the office, you'll find me enjoying sports, out fishing, or spending quality time with my family because I believe staying active and connected are essential for mental wellness.

I deeply understand that mental health struggles affect all of us at some point, and there's absolutely no shame in seeking support—we're all beautifully imperfect humans just trying to figure it out. My goal is to meet you with genuine compassion and help you find the right medication balance while honoring your unique journey. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions, always approaching our partnership with the understanding that you know yourself best!

My approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I take a holistic, open-minded approach to medication management that honors your whole self—mind, body, and spirit—because true healing happens when we address all aspects of your wellbeing. I'm deeply curious about your unique story and believe you're the expert on your own experience; my role is to collaborate with you in finding the right medication balance that supports your goals and values.

Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, I create an empowering space where we can openly discuss how medications are working for you without judgment. I blend evidence-based prescribing with careful attention to your lifestyle, preferences, and how treatments fit into your whole life picture. Together, we'll work as partners to optimize your mental health while honoring your individual needs and helping you feel truly empowered in your healing journey!

What you can expect from me

Hi there! I know taking that first step can feel a little nerve-wracking, but I promise our first session will be relaxed and completely judgment-free. We'll spend most of our time just getting to know each other—I'll ask about what brought you here and what you're hoping to get out of therapy, while you can ask me anything you're curious about.

My goal is simple: I want you to leave feeling heard, understood, and genuinely excited about the positive changes we can work on together. Think of it as the beginning of a really supportive partnership where you're always in the driver's seat. By the end, most people tell me they feel relieved and hopeful—and maybe even a little surprised by how comfortable the whole experience was!
