Great to meet you!

Justina Mazzella is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. Justina has experience in private practice and school settings providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.

My approach to therapy

I begin by helping clients understand what's within their control and how to process what isn't, creating a foundation of clarity and acceptance. From there, I take an open-minded, solution focused approach to help clients navigate their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, supporting meaningful, positive change. I gently challenge patterns that may be holding clients back, while also using humor when appropriate to keep the process approachable and grounded.

What you can expect from me

My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and understood. I view therapy as a collaborative process and meet clients where they are with trust and empathy. Together, we address challenges, build resilience and work to empower clients to reach their full potential while fostering a strong, healthy therapeutic relationship.
