Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm a licensed mental health counselor with seven years of experience, proudly serving clients in both New York and New Jersey. I truly love helping people and believe in the power of change—everyone is capable of growing and healing. My approach is warm, open-minded, and supportive, and I’m here to walk with you every step of the way. You don’t have to do it alone.

My approach to therapy

I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore who they are and who they aspire to become. Rooted in 14 years of recovery from alcoholism and mental health challenges, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. My approach is relational and supportive, grounded in the belief that healing happens through safe, trusting connections. I work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are, and integrate evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and EMDR to foster meaningful growth, coping skills, and lasting change. Whether addressing past trauma, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, or building resilience, my goal is to help clients feel empowered, understood, and supported throughout their journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can simply be yourself. We'll take our time getting to know each other and begin building a strong, trusting connection. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, your current stressors, past experiences, family history, and any goals you may have. We'll also explore your strengths—because those matter too. My aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered as we work together toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change at your own pace.
