Great to meet you!
Welcome! I’m Justine Chappell, LISW, and I provide counseling to individuals across Ohio who are navigating life’s challenges and looking for support, understanding, and practical tools for moving forward. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a remarkably diverse range of people and in a variety of clinical settings, including children, adolescents, adults, older adults, active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, and other professionals working in high-demand and high-risk environments.
My professional experience has given me the opportunity to support individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, addiction, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and the emotional impact of significant life stressors. I have also worked extensively with individuals experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges in complex, high-acuity environments.
My clinical background includes working as an inpatient therapist at Beckett Springs Psychiatric Hospital, where I supported individuals experiencing significant mental health and emotional challenges. Prior to that, I spent many years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on the Behavior Safety Team, working with children and families experiencing complex behavioral and emotional needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm, compassionate, and grounded while helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Northern Kentucky University and previously studied Clinical Psychology at Robert Morris University. My education and varied clinical experiences have provided me with a broad foundation for understanding the many factors that can influence a person’s emotional well-being.
I am so glad you are here!
