Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Justine Paquette and I have been a therapist in a community-based practice for children and families for over two years. I am nonbinary and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a master's degree from Bay Path University and have my LMHC. The treatment areas that I specialize in are trauma, anxiety, adhd and am a safe space for the LGBT community.

My approach to therapy

I tend to use elements from CBT and solution-focused therapies while being client-centered and genuine. What this means in practice is that everything shifts to meet the individual needs of each client. I help with reframing negative thoughts, ways to identify, express, and regulate emotions, and finding the coping skills that work for you.

What you can expect from me

During a first session, I go over your rights as a client, what to expect out of sessions with me, and my style of therapy. This session also serves as a time to go over your history, what you hope to gain out of services, and what are the current concerns. I want this to feel more like a conversation where I can get to know you and determine what your goals are.
