Great to meet you!

Hi. I am so glad you are taking the time to think about engaging in therapy. I have been practicing as a clinical Social Worker for 15 years, with an additional 10 years of work advocating for social justice and community collaboration. I sincerely believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of healing and I strive to create a space that is free from judgment and moves at the pace you are comfortable with.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you are your best teacher, and as a therapist I want you to feel like we are having a conversation led by you. Each therapeutic relationship is unique, but I always bring a collaborative, strengths-based approach coupled with cognitive behavioral therapies and somatic practices to each session. My approach is warm and lighthearted often with a dose of humor as we move towards better self-exploration and understanding without judgement.

What you can expect from me

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, loss and relational conflict. I also enjoy supporting those within the LGBTQ+ community. I like to go at a pace that makes sense to you and understand that often the "thing" we come to therapy for is not always the place we land. Your time with me will always be your safe space to explore whatever comes up that day, allowing you to move forward with mindful awareness.
