Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Justine Vecchione and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I obtained my BS in Psychology before gaining my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before becoming a counselor I worked with special needs children and as a home health aid. Professionally and personally I have experience with anxiety and panic disorders, perinatal mood disorders, adjustment disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, relationship issues, eating disorders, and adjustment issues.

My approach to therapy

I work from a CBT and person centered approach and pull from other clinical theories when it is appropriate for each specific client. I do not believe in one size fits all. I aim to empower my clients by challenging negative thoughts, learning coping skills, and improving self-esteem. I want to provide my clients with a safe environment to explore and express their emotions. My goal is to work myself out of a job by providing you with the tools you need to live a fulfilled life.

What you can expect from me

I hope to provide my clients with a safe accepting space to identify and work through their emotions. We will discuss what brought you to see me and identify personal goals. I'll help you identify support systems and personal strengths while increasing awareness of self-care, improving self-esteem, and practicing problem solving, and coping skills. We will create a toolbox that will help you work through challenges for years to come.
