Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience across both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, providing care to individuals facing a broad range of mental health challenges. I earned my Master’s degree from Lindenwood University (2016–2018), where I also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Psychology Department and completed a portion of my clinical internship training. Working in higher-acuity environments as well as ongoing outpatient care has given me a deep understanding of both crisis stabilization and long-term therapeutic growth. This breadth of experience allows me to assess situations thoroughly and tailor treatment with both clinical precision and compassion.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, grounded, and empowering. My approach integrates evidence-based practices within a personalized, client-centered framework. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities and tailor treatment to each individual’s goals, personality, and lived experience rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and solution-oriented. I create a space where you can feel supported while also gently challenged toward meaningful progress. I value transparency, emotional safety, and measurable growth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, burnout, relationship stress, or feeling stuck, we will work together to identify both practical tools and deeper patterns that support lasting change. I bring extensive experience working across the lifespan, with a clinical foundation shaped by treating adolescents, adults, and older adults in varied levels of care. This breadth of exposure has strengthened my ability to assess complex presentations, adapt interventions thoughtfully, and remain attuned to the developmental, relational, and systemic factors influencing each client. My work is grounded in individualized treatment planning and a commitment to fostering sustainable, long-term psychological growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a structured yet conversational space focused on understanding your concerns, history, and goals for treatment. I will ask thoughtful questions to gain a comprehensive picture of what has brought you to therapy, including current stressors, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This initial meeting is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, clarify expectations, and determine whether the therapeutic fit feels right. While we may begin identifying patterns or strategies, the primary focus is establishing clarity, rapport, and a clear direction for treatment moving forward.
