Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kacee Dahlberg, a Licensed Professional Counselor and former school counselor. I’m passionate about helping children, teens, women, and families navigate life’s transitions, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Reaching out for counseling can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your story, and knowing you are truly heard and understood.

My approach to therapy

Whether you’re working through a major life transition, managing stress, navigating school challenges, experiencing friendship or relationship concerns, or simply looking for a place to process your thoughts and emotions, I’m here to support you. Through talk therapy and, when appropriate, play therapy, we’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.I believe counseling should be individualized because no two people are exactly alike. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and solution-focused therapy, as well as other approaches based on your unique needs and goals. For those who desire it, Christian faith and perspectives can also be thoughtfully incorporated into the counseling process.

What you can expect from me

Our work together will begin with an introductory session where you can share what brings you to counseling, what you hope to gain from the experience, and any concerns you may have. From there, we’ll develop a personalized plan for moving forward. My hope is that counseling becomes a place where you feel supported, empowered, and equipped with tools to navigate life with greater confidence and resilience. Taking the first step toward counseling takes courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you during this season of life. I look forward to connecting with you!
