Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Kacie Smart, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Business Psychologist, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 15 years of experience walking alongside adults through life's challenges. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, grief, relationship concerns, and other issues that affect emotional well being. My work in inpatient, outpatient, community, educational, and nonprofit settings helps me understand how your personal and professional worlds intertwine.

My approach to therapy

I take a deeply person centered approach to therapy and begin by getting to know your unique story, values, and circumstances. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to partner with you in the healing process. Together, we will explore how factors like relationships, work, and environment shape your mental health, and identify practical tools to manage stress, leadership demands, compassion fatigue, and change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming space to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We will discuss your concerns, hopes, and questions, review what the therapeutic process can look like, and begin to clarify your goals. This time is also for you to get a feel for my style and make sure I am the right provider for you, so you can move forward feeling informed, supported, and comfortable.
