Great to meet you!

Feeling overwhelmed, tired, or stuck—and wondering if anything can really help? You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

I’m an experienced, board certified Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 14 years of experience working across outpatient, residential, and school-based settings. My life experience as well as work experience allows me to connect with people across cultures, genders, and ages while giving care, support, and offering a judgement-free space for people to find relief. I work collaboratively with professionals, young adults, and teens who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. I have demonstrated experience working with clients with trauma, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Adjustment disorders, relational problems, chronic stress and more. I believe building a foundation of trust and unconditional positive regard allows me to gently challenge negative patterns as well as bring kind humor into our sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-focused. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients understand patterns that may be contributing to distress, develop practical tools for navigating challenges, building effective coping strategies, and identify realistic steps toward change.

I take an holistic approach, recognizing that mental health is connected to the whole picture of your life—including relationships, work or school, stress, emotions, values, how you find joy, and daily routines. Rather than trying to change everything at once, we’ll focus on small, meaningful changes that can support greater balance and overall well-being.

Most importantly, I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be understood without judgment, supported through difficult moments, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to be willing to begin.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about building a collective understanding of our work together. I will learn about what you are hoping to achieve, your needs, and preferences. Giving you a background of myself and approach while also answering any questions you have while building rapport is an important first step building a therapeutic alliance.
