Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Kailey Mulvihill and I've been a practicing therapist since 2019. I enjoy working with my adult clients on addressing a wide range of issues. I've mostly specialized in working with clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress management ,and LGBTQ+ issues. I have a relational approach to therapy and I focus on building a strong, empathetic therapeutic relationship from which the difficult work of therapy can be done.

My approach to therapy

Once a positive and growth-fostering therapeutic relationship is established, I pull interventions from various theoretical perspectives to help meet the needs of each unique client. My main theoretical lens is relationally focused but I often use strategies from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, person-centered therapy and more. I also am trauma-informed and work with clients on understanding how trauma from our past impacts us in the present.

What you can expect from me

I am always striving to create a safe, mutually-empathic and growth-fostering space from which to engage in the hard work required to make positive change in life. I employ humor, empathy, psychoeducation, and active listening skills to achieve a productive therapeutic space for all my clients.
