Great to meet you!

Thanks for being here! I'm Kailynn, live in Houston, and graduated with my Master's in Social Work from UNLV in 2014.

I love helping moms during any stage of motherhood. I specialize in treating moms who may be struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression, shame, or with their identity since motherhood. I also enjoy supporting professionals who need support in setting boundaries, decreasing anxiety or depression, or improving work-life balance, perfectionism, and/or relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is individualized, as every person and their experience is unique. I often use modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Practices, Self-Compassion, and Trauma-Informed approaches (mind-body, nervous system resets).

What you can expect from me

I focus on building a relationship with my clients and making them feel comfortable in sessions. Conversations are usually organic and natural. I recognize implementing change is difficult, so I work with my clients on identifying baby steps and small changes they can make to work towards their goals. Clients tend to appreciate this approach, as it makes change more realistic and attainable.
